Reliably informed

When you think of comedians, what type of image do you get in your mind? I’m pretty sure it won’t be of a 23-year-old ex-Etonian. Don’t worry, it’s not a young David Cameron or Boris Johnson somehow hurled through time (god forbid); it’s actually Ivo Graham, whose charm and wit has seen him win fans across the country. If you think he’s a bit young to be taking on the comedy circuit though, don’t worry: Graham is mature enough to know that he should only tackle the things he knows about. So, with more than a bit of gauche humour and a stage flair that has turned heads, Graham often tackles stories and issues surrounding adolescence. And we all know what a goldmine of material that little part of our lives can be!

Graham is joined by equally talented comedians, and BBC New Comedy Award finalists, Brennan Reece and Jonny Pelham. Plus, the ever-effervescent Hebburn star and all-round Geordie good’un Jason Cook is MCing the evening. Can’t ask for more than that, really.

Ivo Graham performs as part of Funny Way To Be at The Witham, Barnard Castle on Saturday 23rd May.
