North Shields indie-pop four-piece headline the Sunderland venue’s virtual gig experience on 11th April
Remember when on a Saturday night the only live music experience that was beamed into your home was X-Factor? Well, times change and due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, these TV productions are no longer possible to make and thankfully, musicians and venues are filling this entertainment void by capitalising on live-stream performances.
Sunderland venue, Independent are launching a weekly gig experience on Facebook Live every Saturday night starting this 11th April with headliners Club Paradise, who will be represented by a solo set from their frontman Ryan Young. The hotly-tipped four-piece from North Shields and faves of BBC Music Introducing have been delighting audiences around the region (and beyond) with their synth-driven indie-pop and now you can experience these songs in all their intimate, stripped back glory.
Support comes from one of Sunderland’s brightest new talents, Faye Fantarrow as well as Luke Dawkins who fronts Hartlepool rockers, Leopard Rays.
There will be details within the streams on how to donate to Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen, a charity Independent have worked closely since it’s opening.
