Newcastle’s intelligent popsters Headclouds return to the live scene this month, bringing a brand new set-list to Newcastle’s newest venue, Bobiks, on Saturday 10th August.
Having spent late 2018 and early 2019 being a slave to the recording studio, the alternative pop group offer up their first record release of the year – one of seven more to come!
Marmalade tells the all too familiar tale of silver linings, and conveys an important message of the power and significance of optimism when it comes to love. The track oozes optimistic charm thanks to a blend of soft harmonies and brass solos; energetic and stylish, infectious and nostalgic, it’s a feel-good pop track that you can’t help but tap your toes to, and an invigorating glimpse into what may be on the horizon for the Newcastle band.
Support for the evening comes from North Shields born and raised folk rockers Hector Gannet, who earlier this year supported North East diamond Sam Fender and have a flourishing reputation as an outstanding live band. Not an evening you want to miss!
