Since graduating from the Cleveland College of Art and getting a degree from Loughborough university, north east artist Hannah Campion has been championed from all corners for her exciting work across the globe. She’s been exhibited in Berlin, New York, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur and recently she returned to the Vane Gallery in Newcastle to present a show that received an overwhelmingly positive review in The Guardian.

Now she’s back on Teesside to present a brand new series of works based on the architecture of the sprawling House of Blah Blah. Connecting across the main gallery itself and into other areas of the building, Campion site-specific work will no doubt be as challenging, colourful and indeed beautiful as her previous efforts. As she’s used to working in a variety of mediums, from large-scale installations to 3D models and 2D paintings and drawings, we could expect to see a diverse range of work that sprawls across the walls, floors and maybe even ceilings. If you’re not familiar with Campion’s work, this is the perfect introduction to one of the north east’s most talented artists.

Hannah Campion’s latest exhibition comes to the House of Blah Blah, Middlesbrough from¬†Friday 3rd July¬†until Thursday 13th August.
