Hip-hop, funk and jazz, all weaved into a tapestry that oozes heady ambient pop and tight horn-filled choruses
After picking up widespread praise and radio play, Manchester-based jazz collective Glowrogues, are off out on tour, taking in Newcastle venue Ernest on Monday 16th October all thanks to Jazz Plus Productions.
Led by Jim Molyneux, they draw on a range of influences including hip-hop, funk and jazz, all weaved into a tapestry that oozes heady ambient pop and tight horn-filled choruses. All made up of an experienced bunch of players, with a vast wealth of eclectic talent to draw on, having played in various jazz and folk scenes, the intimate space at Ernest is in for something special.
