Displace Yourself Theatre bring their new show Food For Thought to ARC, Stockton on Thursday 7th March. They’re asking how food can help or hurt our health and examine the influence of the fast food industry on our lives. Working in the UK, Italy and Hungary, the company interacted with farmers, academics and experts on the subject, allowing them to bite into one of the most important issues of our time.

From farmer to factory, land to laboratory and grower to grazer, a host of characters will prompt the audience into examining how the personal choices we make about the food we eat can have dramatic consequences on communities around the world. With mouth-watering music and visuals, plus a sprinkling of tangy humour, this is a show for anyone who feels ready to think differently about the world we live in. Indulge in the distinctive form of Displace Yourself, filled with delicious projection, delectable performers and flavoured with a fiery movement score.

For those wishing to delve deeper, there’s a creative response presented by local people which begins 30 minutes before the main show starts and a post-show discussion.
