Indie rockers Foals recently gave their fans a taste of what’s to come with their new singles Wake Me Up and 2AM, the first songs to be unveiled from the group’s eagerly anticipated new album Life Is Yours, due out in June.

Foals’ forthcoming offering will follow in the footsteps of their 2019 Brit Award for Best Group, their Mercury Prize nomination and the band’s first number one for their two-part album Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost.

Speaking about their new album, frontman Yannis Philippakis said: “I feel that with Everything Not Saved… we touched upon all of the facets of our sound up until that point. This time we wanted to find a new way to express ourselves. We wanted to refocus and do something that shared a DNA throughout the songs: a physicality, a danceability and with energy and joyousness. It’s definitely the poppiest record we’ve ever made.”

Foals will be taking to the road for an extensive UK headline run. With most of the dates on the tour sold out, the band’s show at O2 City Hall in Newcastle on Tuesday 26th April will inevitably be a hot ticket.
