Independent venue week is just a few days away, and it sees the nation celebrating our best independent venues and all they stand for. Stockton’s Georgian Theatre is celebrating this in fine style, bringing both Field Music and Kingsley Chapman and The Murder to their venue on Friday 29th January.
Field Music need little introduction really, one of the finest bands on the North East music scene, their quirky pop rock has already garnered them quite the following. Eccentric in all the best ways, they’re a band that’ll continue to go from strength to strength with their indie pop songs consistently showcasing intelligent songwriting. Joined by the dark, melodic music of Kingsley Chapman and The Murder, it’s a special line-up that will happily sweep the audience away with beautifully crafted songs.
Opening the show are Stockton locals Weird Shapes, the alt rockers quirky music a perfect fit for this bill, and will set just the right tone for the wonderful music to follow.
