2019 is on it’s way out and our Tory overlords are currently concocting a 2020 that wouldn’t seem too out of place in any dystopian fiction novel you have ever read. Before you embrace the inevitable and crack open your new state-issued Gary Barlow calendar, purveyors of all that’s great and good in the alt-music scene, Endless Window, bring you a little enjoyment in aid of charity as they end the year with an assortment of sonic delights at The Cumberland Arms, Newcastle on Monday 30th December

Headlining the event are Newcastle’s surreal, scuzzy freak-rockers, No Teeth who will be making their Endless Window’s debut. The band have been busy releasing new material this year and their unique sound, which incorporates elements of noise-rock, post-punk, garage rock and stoner rock, has been piquing the interests of music fans everywhere.

Joining them are shadowy psychedelic/drone collective, Hermitage who feature members of Cave Suns and Shy-Talk within their ranks. Penance Stare return to the fold to dish out some gothy, post-punky sonic slices of intensity via the new line up, which now includes drums and opening the night are Star Cult, who will be thrilling the audience with their heavy metal and old school rock fusion.

Entry fee is a £5 suggested donation, with all proceeds going to support Mermaids, an organisation that provides support and advocacy for transgender and gender diverse children and their families.
