Endless Window have made quite the home for themselves at Cumberland Arms over the last few months. A combination of live music and DJs playing songs you’d be hard pushed to dance to anywhere else; the final show of the year takes place Friday 20th November, with more of what has made their nights so popular.

Nathalie Stern has been generating a lot of buzz from recent sets, looped folksy vocals combining in a fascinatingly off-kilter way with heavy droning and a backdrop of minimal electronics. There’s something fresh and unique running through her sound, and this headline set will be something not to be missed.

There’s support on the night from Competition, Good Tapes founder Craig Pollard’s solo project, and his surreal take on pop sensibilities a perfect fit for the night.

The evening’s entertainment as ever is all being brought to a close by something of an alternative disco, so you can throw shapes until late to a variety of tantalising tracks from the likes of Pixies, Joy Division, The Fall, My Bloody Valentine and Sleater Kinney, all of which should keep you yearning for more from Endless Window until they return in 2016.

The eighth edition of Endless Window featuring Nathalie Stern takes place at Cumberland Arms, Newcastle on Friday 20th November
