If you can already anticipate the summer blues that late August brings, never fear – The Cluny has your back! The End of Summer Surf Festival on Saturday 31st August is certain to get you into celebratory mode for one final blowout party (which runs from midday until 4pm).
Cumbria’s own surf rock foursome The Siratones are set to deliver swells of energy with their groovy tones and thundering guitars; instrumental surf band and the North East Coast’s own The Milk Lizards are expected to soak The Cluny with punk surf chaos, while Scottish trio Secret Admirer are likely to bring their spooky instrumental surf garage full throttle.
And if that gnarly line-up wasn’t enough, there’s also Hawaiian themed décor, vintage surf and hot rod films screened between performances, cocktails served in coconuts and Hawaiian shirts are heartily encouraged – all providing the perfect opportunity to fully immerse yourself in that last hit of summer!
