Electric Six are a band that feel like they’ve been around forever, and now, on their 11th studio album, they are certainly an experienced set of musicians. Over a decade has passed since they had massive hits with both Danger! High Voltage and Gay Bar, and there’ll be lots of catchy new exciting songs on show as they head to O2 Academy Tuesday 1st December.

The Detroit six-piece are known for providing frenetic and fun live shows, full of energy and good times and really bringing their music to life, so all in attendance are in for something spectacular. Having built a dedicated following too, expect a raucous atmosphere throughout.

New album Bitch, Don’t Let Me Die is full of their usual pop goodness, as well as dirty guitar riffs, pounding, driving songs to really get you going, so while the album title may not be the most uplifting, lots about this show certainly will be.

Electric Six come to O2 Academy, Newcastle Tuesday 1st December.
