A show currently making a splash at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is making its way down to The Stand in Newcastle on Tuesday 19th September. Eleanor Conway’s Walk Of Shame show sees the no-nonsense, former party girl comic deliver a show about sex, sobriety and Sambuca.

With a litany of adventures behind her, there’s a strong narrative to her debut show, which touches on some real extremes she’s lived; partying all around the world as a music journalist lead to some really fascinatingly funny anecdotes. There’s her Tinder tribulations tantalisingly tackled too, as Conway mines every last drop from the entertaining world of online dating. It all makes for a brilliantly exciting leap into tales of running off to Asia to work for the Triads and that time she made hard-core porn.

Full of energy, expect stories that feel almost cinematic and a show that will have you gripped from beginning to end as she edges towards explaining the new sober world she finds herself in and looking for meaning in moderation. The show has already received many rave reviews for its candid look at life, and Walk of Shame is set to leave a big impression on all those packed into The Stand to see it.

Eleanor Conway is at The Stand, Newcastle on Tuesday 19th September.
