The Middlesbrough Empire have caught a band right on the top of their game. When Deaf Havana come to the Empire on Friday 19th December, they’ll be riding high on the back of two phenomenally successful albums, amazing stints at major festivals – including Reading and Leeds – and opening for enormous stadium acts such as Bruce Springsteen and Muse.

The band’s two albums – Old Souls and Worthless Fools & Liars – have both been critically and commercially successful. Old Souls, the more recent of the two LPs, did particularly well in the UK album charts upon its release, mostly due to their epic songwriting ability and the sextet’s knack for putting a slight twist on rock. Their live performances are famous for being full-on rock assaults and a similarly incredible performance should be expected from the band when they come to the Empire.

They’re joined by Lonely the Brave – who have been described as one of the best new rock acts in the country – and Verses, whose debut album Feel It Faster was recently released. The trio are sure to put in a blistering set on Teesside on Friday.

Deaf Havana will play at the Middlesbrough Empire on Friday 19th December.
