News: Create:Develop

Newcastle’s creative support agency, Generator have recently announced, Create:Develop, a brand new, 12-month development scheme aimed at songwriters (including producers, solo artists, band members & composers) from the North-East.

Four acts from various genres will be selected to go through a development process culminating in recording and releasing new material via a short-term recording & publishing deal with Generator’s own record label, Tipping Point Records. 

Artists will also present their projects at showcasing opportunities and participate in industry-ready Residency, Masterclass & Mentoring programmes.

The emphasis of this programme is very much on the creative process of writing and producing original music with a strong undercurrent of learning how to operate in the current music industry landscape.
