Experimental sounds come to Cluny 2
Multimedia collective Crack Cloud are heading to Newcastle on the back of their latest release Anchoring Point. Their show at Cluny 2 on Wednesday 13th June pulls in some incredible support bands too, for an evening of inventive, original music that draws on a plethora of interesting influences.
With hip-hop a big influence, Crack Clouds members draw on their range of back stories for something completely of their own. Sounds of funk-laced bass riffs blend well with experimental soundcapes for something memorable. They’re joined by noisy garage rockers Lovely Wife, whose own creativity has made them a real stand-out act. With the drone sounds of Heat Death of the Sun rounding it all out, the music on show is set be a joyous evening of the experimental.
