Newcastles much-loved independent music venue returns with a series of shows from local artists

Cluny 2 is back with a bang as they announce a series of socially distanced, fully seated gigs over the coming months. Yay!!!
The venue has spent the past four months working on the best possible way to use the venue space in a way that safely works for gig-goers, staff and the artists; keeping all seats and tables are at a minimum distance of at least 2 metres from each other, with table service only and a one way system for entry and exit for those needing the toilet. Everything is now clearly signposted with staff on hand to monitor the doors, bar, and guide customers to their allocated seats and answer any questions upon arrival. All staff, as well as their engineers, will wear face protection at all times.
Performing is cream of local talent, with each date featuring one live act doing several sets over the course of a day (afternoon, matinee, and evening shows). Doors will open one hour before each set begins to help ensure that audience arrival times are as evenly spread as possible and the venue will be fully cleared out and disinfected in between performances.
