No there isn’t an echo in here, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard is the name of Cardiff’s power pop quartet. Back in February the band released their debut album, Backhand Deals, to much acclaim; it’s a fun, laid-back release that radiates the summer energy that we’re all desperately waiting for.

The band are celebrating their success with a nationwide tour that’ll see them descend like a majestic bird of prey into the North East to play at The Cluny, Newcastle on Friday 8th April. The last time the band played up here they were supporting The Blinders in 2021, and fans should expect the same lively bangers like the incredibly catchy Good Day, and the bouncy and glammy New Age Millennial Magic.

Supporting them will be Panic Shack, who are to release their debut EP, Baby Shack, on the same night, ensuring the gig is an excellent way to celebrate their catalogue so far and enjoy punky anthem Who’s Got My Lighter and the bass-heavy I Don’t Really Like It.

Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Panic Shack play The Cluny, Newcastle on Friday 8th April.
