News: Bernard Butler Songwriting Workshop

If brushing up on your songwriting skills is on your list of New Year’s resolutions, then you are in luck as North-East music development agency Generator are bringing solo artist and former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler to the region to help with that.

They’re holding two workshops on 20th and 21st January at Blast Studios in Newcastle, which will be centred around collaboration and will see Bernard giving participants a toolbox of songwriting tricks to use on an original song of their choice. The song will be discussed and then performed live as a group, where a rudimentary and informal recording will be taken.
