Reliably informed

Christened after the Greek God of requited love, Anteros are a four-piece who have been smothered with plaudits since their debut in 2015. The band’s dream pop ditties have snuck their way into Spotify playlists, festival billings and acclaimed reviews aplenty, seeing them soar from the background music of the toilet venue circuit to opening the Other Stage to a score of mud-soaked revelers at Glastonbury Festival.

Having stirred up a storm across the country throughout their October trek of the UK, Anteros are returning for another bite at The Cluny on Tuesday 16th April, however this time they’re armed with a shiny new copy of their recently released debut album When We Land. The hotly anticipated eleven track offering goes above and beyond expectations, laced with grit, vitality and a social conscience in the form of album highlight Drive On, a song inspired by the alarming rise of global plastic waste and the demise of the planet (an educational banger never goes amiss).
