Touted as the North East’s coastal music trail, brand new event A Stone’s Throw Festival have announced its first wave of performers, with tickets on sale now.

Taking place on Saturday 28th May, venues in Tynemouth and North Shields will play host to a vast range of bands and artists. 11 venues in all will take part, with a local bus service from Go North East providing open top buses to ply the route.

Artists of particular note in their first wave of announcements include slacker popster Lauran Hibberd, fast rising songwriter Sam Tompkins, BBC Sound of 2021 alumni BERWYN, contemporary classical composer Benjamin Fitzgerald, highly regarded folk artists Hector Gannet, neo-soul songwriter Kate Bond and alt. rockers Pave the Jungle, plus audiences can expect sets from Rudie Edwards, Tamzene, Wych Elm, Alex Amor, Bandit, Candid, Club Paradise, Danko, Dakota Avenue, Dilutey Juice, Ellur, FEVA, Frankie Beetlestone, George O’Hanlon, HighSchool, Hi Sienna, IMOGEN, Jango Flash, Keiran Bowe, Lizzie Esau, Luke Royalty, Moon Wax, Motel Carnation, Overpass, Ten Eighty Trees, The Gulps, Vice Killer and many more to be announced. 

The first release of tickets priced at £29.50 are on sale now.
