2020 has definitely been a year to remember! Although on the surface this year may seem like it’s all been doom and gloom, it’s actually been filled with many positive moments. BBC Introducing’s Rianne Thompson chose my single Sunrays, from my Butterfly Trees EP, as BBC Tees Track of the Week. It also recently made the cut for the 2020 BBC Introducing Hotlist which is an achievement that I’m over the moon with, especially as some people told me a Teesside accent wouldn’t be accepted in music!

I’ve learned a lot this year and am thankful for the support and mentorship from the likes of David Saunders and Henry Carden for guiding me as a young artist coming up in the scene. I’ve had the chance to work and collaborate on some amazing projects with amazing people including Last Train At Home Virtual Festival with Tracks, performing an exclusive track with Eyeconic for NARC. TV and the BBC Intro Sessions at The Crypt. I released my most popular music video to date, Toxic Rick, and I’ve also released music videos for my tracks Lambrini Dreams and Butterfly Trees featuring Jack Craggs on my YouTube Channel. There is still so much musically, creatively and artistically that I want to release into the world, which is why I’m excited to announce that I’m currently in the process of working on my debut album for release in 2021. Go big or go home!
