Reliably informed

North Shields artist Daniel Fallon prepares to release his new single, The Gun, under his Almighty Gods guise. Here, we find out all we can about the project.

Who are you and where are you from?

My name is Daniel Fallon. I’m from North Shields originally but I have spent the last decade or so abroad, living in South Korea and then Moscow. A bit of an unusual background but the experiences have been life changing and a huge source of inspiration. Due to the political situation, I’ve come full circle and returned home with my wife and kids.

What is it you do?

A one man band would be the best description. My fictional band The Almighty Gods is a blend of high powered indie rock and emotional art which in terms of a genre I  describe as ‘realism’.

How long have you been doing it?

A lifetime. Due to my situation of relocating and raising children, it’s been a bit on and off, but now the project is ready to roll and I’m really excited about it.

What inspires you?

Life and the desire to make sense of the world around, the world inside my head and who it is I’ve become or are becoming.

Tell us about your music

It’s a musical novel of sorts, consisting of 40 chapters, spanning over the coming years (God willing!) a collection of songs, some of which are 20 years old, some of which are a lot more recent. A musical biography of myself would be one way of looking at it.

What have you got coming up in the future?

A lot of new music, content, and hopefully some live performances in the local area and maybe even further afield.

Where can people find out more about you?

My Youtube channel is my spiritual home, but via all of the usual social media platforms you can find me, including Facebook.
