Who are you and where are you from?
We are Northern Hospitality.  We are a Hartlepool/NE-based band but we have members from all over the place.  Both myself (Gaz Price/Lead singer + Guitar) and our drummer David Wilcox are from Pools!  Our lead guitarist Sean Mccloskey is a mix of Chicago and Hartlepool and our bassist, Nico Mouissie is South african!

What is it you do?
We craft chaos into a 3-6 minute package and vibrate walls with it! haha

The path towards becoming Northern Hospitality has been building for some time now. We have been playing together in other forms, mostly a backing band for my solo stuff, for well over a year and in that time a new sound was emerging! The songs were more visceral, melodic and felt so colossal that it demanded we evolved with them to become something new. To us it always felt like it was heading this way!

How long have you been doing it?
Myself (Gaz) have been in bands and playing music for like 13 years and the lads are pretty much the same! But as a collective, we are pretty new, around a year old! We’ve done some big things in that time, playing a run of sold-out shows and also more recently supporting Pete Doherty.

What inspires you?
I think personally between all of us we have individual motives for chasing what we love and aspire to be. But as a collective, we want to stamp our own voice on music and showcase our creativity to the world. We want to be able to look back and say aye we wrote those songs that meant something, we played those gigs that people felt were momentous and we had a good F*cking time doing it!

Tell us about your music.
We are a chaotic creation of punk-influenced themes infused with catchy melodies and heavy guitars. We aim for every song to sound like an anthem and our ethos reverberates through every fibre of our songs and live shows.

What have you got coming up in the future?
We have recorded pretty heavily at BLANK Studios Newcastle so we have plenty of music coming! We are Supporting Bathroom Dad in our Leeds debut at the Lending room on 29th June. Our biggest upcoming gig is Playing the Tall Ships festival alongside Maximo Park and The Sherlocks.

Where can people find out more about you?
