Who are you and where are you from?
I am Ethan Azam. I create art to inspire people to live with good intentions and express their true self with passion.

I’m English born, with Pakistani and Scottish heritage. My physical body is currently residing in an interesting North East town called Middlesbrough.

What is it you do?
I create art, all kinds of art – music, painting, story writing, fashion, and so on.

My main artistic passion is hip-hop. I would class my music as alternative hip-hop. I just speak my mind, release my emotions and tie these into whatever conceptual framework is of interest to me in the moment.

The art I create is best described as the essence of Hip-Hop viewed from an alternative life experience and told through concept art.

How long have you been doing it?
I’ve been creating and releasing music for five years – art as a whole, I have been making my entire life.

As a child, I would write stories, create plasticine animations, paint, and literally do anything artistic I could think of.

I have always created art because I love creating art.

What inspires you?
Expression of self and identity. I could watch Star Wars and be inspired by Obi-Wan’s dedication to the Jedi code, or I could watch a football game and be inspired by Jude Bellingham’s mentality.

Expression of self in others has always inspired me to do the same through my art.

Tell us about your music.
My latest project BOOK OF REVELATIONS follows my journey over the past two years.

We begin in a place of frustration, lacking a real awareness of purpose, love and understanding – all things I seemed to be mad with the outer world for.

Then, we follow my emotional journey and realisations as I grow to accept love in my life, realigning with the truth of my passion, and transcending into this next stage of expressing my artistic purpose.

What have you got coming up in the future?
That is a question only the universe can answer, but I shall do my best.

I have told the story of the last two years through the lens of my mind, in a very reflective manner. I’m working on a new project which comes with a more direct approach, speaking more in detail about the latter part of this year and how I have built the foundations to enhance my life and artistic ventures.

I’ll be performing at more live shows, creating more online content and feeling more and more at peace with my inner self.

Where can people find out more about you?
I would rather you find out more about yourself. I think if we all took time to understand ourselves more, it would lead to a better world for us all.

That being said, you can find me on any social media under the username @ethanazam. I’m most active on my Instagram and TikTok.
