Reliably informed

We continue with our little chats with BBC Music Introducing in the North-East’s top tips for 2021. Next up up is soulful solo-artist Chloe Castro.

Who are you?
Yooo, I’m Chloe Castro! I’m an R&B/Soul artist from the North-East.

What is it you do?
I make music pretty much all day every day – it’s a blessing.  Just released my debut EP ‘AMID’ at the end of 2020 and ready to smash 2021.

How long have you been doing it?
Since I was old enough to force my mum and nan to watch me perform in our living room. I wrote my first song when I was about 12 – it was an awful song.

What inspires you?
Life and everything about it. It baffles me on the daily. I need a way to make my own sense of it so I write.

Tell us about your music.
It’s kinda just whatever I’m feeling at the time it gets created. It’s my personal blend of R&B, Trap, Rap and Soul.

What have you got coming up in the future?
That’s for me to know and you to find out… Soon.

Where can people find out more about you?
You can find me on all the socials: chloe_castromusic on Facebook and Insta and The_ChloeCastro for Twitter. Also, you can go to where you can sign up to my Friends list and download my first two singles for free 🙂
