Ahead of his latest production, Where Do All The Dead Pigeons go? at Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle (16th-19th July), Scott Turnbull gives us his five things to look forward to in the show
Where Do All The Dead Pigeons Go? debuted in 2017 in association with ARC, Stockton and Northern Stage and after touring for the past few years now finds itself at Alphabetti Theatre, Newcastle from 16th-19th July. Creator Scott Turnbull tells us more about his production and gives us his five things to look forward to in the show.
Where Do All The Dead Pigeon’s go? is a story of friendship and loneliness, set on the dark side of the moon. There’s a robot from Middlesbrough and an old school over head projector from 1984. It’s like Mighty Boosh meets Red Dwarf, with live drawings and absurd existential musings- it’s funny and heart-breaking all at the same time.
Five things to look forward to:
It’s a fun-filled Fever Dream of 80’s nostalgia with a recognisable human story at the centre of it all.
