It could be said that Thin Mind is out of this world, like a modern-day version of Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds. Wolf Parade, with their indie rock sounds and trademark synthesiser, have created an album that manages to utterly invigorate you.

It starts with the rocky number Under Glass: catchy and very pleasing, but boy does the listening experience change thereafter. With its Jean-Michael Jarre vibes, Fall Into The Future has a great beat and bass, while the beautiful It’s Kind As You Can tells a quirky story with its lyrics, and stand out track Out Of Control blows you away; dramatic sounding and epic. Every one of the songs is strong and I’ve no doubt Thin Mind will become a new classic.
