Reliably informed

Released: 28.02.20

The joyful bounce emanating from Wajatta is a result of the positive combined talents of Reggie Watts & John Tejada and a perfect way to start the year on the up-beat. Uplifting polished grooves, as you would expect from passionate admirers of a European dance scene steeped in Detroit techno, Chicago house, Yello tinged Euro-disco, 70’s Afrofunk and now with a hint of Brainfeeder’s sentient hip-hop soul attitude.

The title track is definitely ‘the poppiest’ as Watts states, and holds some sage wisdom for future woes whilst hypnotically whistling its melody. The duo’s organic approach to writing and performing where everything is grown from scratch has resulted in a bright flowering for a new decade.
