The central creative driving force of Markus, Cico and Micha steer seasoned Munich-based collective The Nowtist through a kaleidoscope of alt. pop/indie tunes dealing with a world of uncertainties realised with genuine reflection, local grounding, togetherness and optimism, oh and there’s some keen high points along the way.

Recorded live over a week at the not-for-profit art space Import Export, a name that mirrors their sentiment that what happens here can be global, and they aim to show that in a series of songs that look at the minutia that surrounds us, small observations that give this chaotic existence a sense of normality, as in the poignant cover version How The Story Ends or Silver Lines that implies here goes to there and vice-versa. The delightful melancholic Projectors impels us to understand our fears can deceive like a fantastical movie, it’s a simple tune with remarkable depth. The album as a whole will stay with me and keep revealing itself anew for some time, I feel.
