Tom McLean reviews the new release from the Kiwi electro duo

Forged in the bowels of Auckland’s Music and Audio Institute, Kiwi indie electronic duo The Naked And Famous have built a reputation for bridging the gap between club pop and electronic chill-out, and fourth album, Recover, fortifies those credentials.
Comprised of fifteen tracks, the opening title track is a melodic lament elevated by a stirring gospel chorus, and the album that follows unites electronic indie pop and sun-bleached chill-out masterfully. While highlights include bouncer Everybody Knows and ballad Come As You Are, every track provides vintage TNAF. This album takes you by the hand and guides you to that sun-drenched beach you should have been bathing on this summer.
