Despite hailing from Nashville where country music rules, The Harmaleighs are almost impossible to categorise. The duo’s sophomore record finds them embracing Americana and indie on tracks like the high octane single Sorry, I’m Busy and opener Anthem For The Weak; perfect for that hazy, lazy summer Sunday.

Scratching below the surface, however, uncovers a journey through singer Haley Grant’s mental health issues, addressing her anxiety as a character on the surreal carnival ride Moving My Body and I Don’t Know Myself, a track that surrenders herself to her demons whilst also shooting them down with that very concession. The punky bassline drives album highlight Dim The Light, on a record where the gorgeous melodies ensure it never goes out.
