I quite like it when a band chooses a name which makes them a bit tricky to search for online, largely because it inspires fond memories of a not-too-distant time when we had to do a bit of work to find out about artists. Little wonder then, that I’ve become almost instantly infatuated with Google-dodging Swedes The Amazing, whose third album Picture You is an absolutely beautiful collection of psychedelic pop. It’s quite an escape from the miserable depths of an English winter, to the extent that if you shut your eyes in its company you can momentarily fool yourself that the full-blast radiator glow in your cheeks is actually dusty desert sunshine baking your skin as you tear through Death Valley with the top down.
