Prolific Canadian twins Tegan and Sara return with their tenth album, and it is full of energy and catchy lyrics. A number of albums created through the pandemic have been reflective and full of introspection. It is great to see this duo buck this trend with a forward thinking album that feels like it is more about renovating the human spirit. The music loops around an active percussion track whilst perspective lyrics have real sing-along charm.

Live may not be perfect and in songs like the single Fucking Up What Matters and Pretty Shitty Time you have the counterbalance to I Can’t Grow Up. This is a collection of songs that works really well together as an album.
