With the increasing need to talk about mental health issues, Tacocat have made an album routed in a variety of such themes. From the social anxiety of Grains Of Salt, through the unwillingness to discuss such issues in The Problem and the utopian view of waking up one morning to a world not gripped by social pressures which exudes from both New World and Rose Colored Sky.

This is all delivered with a particular eclecticism from doo-wop to grunge, with a foray into disco. They fit the music to the issue that they’re exploring, this is without doubt an instantly relatable and equally important album in a world with such a stigma around mental health issues.
