Tacocat’s third album of Seattle feminist guitar pop is a lot like their first two – and that’s no bad thing. Shame Spiral and NVM were fantastic, and since there’s no-one quite like Tacocat, another album of the same is no saturation of any kind of ‘market’. Only thing is, there’s little to say about Lost Time that hasn’t already been said about Shame Spiral and NVM.

The sunny guitars that pervade each song, with Emily Nokes’s beautiful sunny-with-clouds voice, come together to create more gorgeous danceable pop. Their lyrics are smart, funny and frankly feminist. Put on Shame Sprial, NVM and Lost Time all in a row, and try and stop listening at any point for the next week. Double dare ya.
