Ignore the retro artwork (this being a complete reworking of singer Mike Muir’s 1996 debut solo album) and naff title (cf. the band’s own 1993 album Still Cyco After All These Years, itself a collection of re-recordings; both of which should give you some idea where the band are at career-wise), SCPAATY is fast and brash. It was derivative at the time and it’s derivative now but It’s Always Something has some shouty punk singalongs and glam metal guitar and Save A Peace For Me’s speed metal segments are classic Suicidals.

Of course Muir has long since been the last remaining original member of the group so you might ask what the point is but, with Dave Lombardo now on drums, a nice little upgrade for the completists.
