Outstanding North East singer-songwriter Steve Pledger has released a fourth album of rare quality and message. Never mincing his words, Steve has the delivery, expression and power of voice and range of acoustic melodies to allow these lyrical slingshots and arrows to really hit home.

Dealing in consequences of actions and inactions, they sometimes come home to roost years later, as on Sister, Dear, an emotional apology to the younger sister Steve once teased. Salt From The Sea is a slow burning drama, while Waiting to Hurt drips with emotion. Each tune takes our hand and demands our ears. Beautifully arranged throughout, the instrumentation allows Steve’s strong and tender vocals to rise above and beyond to deliver a final message of hope. Tomorrow is still in our hands.
