Resurrecting a body of work that was prematurely laid to rest in 2007, Exeter post-punks Sancho Panzer almost manage to straddle the gap between what would have been eminently vital ten years ago with what is likely to go down a storm in the pit today.

They succeed massively when they go all skate-punk bro-core on your ass with massive sing-a-long unity anthems that will resonate with all those thirty-somethings who were forced to swap their World Industries for TM Lewin. When they do the faux-ska thing on Lucky Ones, you kind of wish they hadn’t bothered.
