There are very few current bands as prolific as OSEES, and at some point that had to come back and bite them. Panther Rotate is not the companion album to Protean Threat that anyone would have expected, these slow swirling tracks blend into one another. Sonically it’s intriguing, but overall it feels that it’s lacking that usual sparkle that John Dwyer and his band bring to proceedings.

Opening with Scramble Experiment it fails to set the record alight, taking until Toadstool experiment to really get going. This track possesses a little more of that Dwyer magic, Miz Experiment albeit short but sweet is a definite highlight. Overall Panther Rotate lacks the usual fervour, instead leaving you wanting a lot more.
