Joe Andrews and Tom Halstead (Raime/Blackest Ever Black) are joined by longtime collaborator Valentina Magaletti (Vanishing Twin) on percussion in this sample-laden stoner math rock workout from Moin. Rhythm is a key driver here, with both guitar and drums front and centre. Sound snippets and carefully selected dialogue occasionally breakout, forming an unnerving glue to heighten emotional atmosphere, particularly on the track Right Is Alright, Wrong Is To Belong where there is a genuine sense of constant angst and tension. The following track, Lungs, continues the pressure, building an enduring intensity throughout the whole album.

It’s an experimental record, according to the band themselves, who explain it’s “something to experience”. It’s certainly an interesting listen.
