If you’re a Gallagher fan you’ll probably like this and if you’re not you’ll find little to change your mind.

The abysmal single Chinatown is its nadir so if you were enthused by that shitstorm you’ll be in heaven. His obsession with The Beatles continues, with a littering of Fab Four reference points, and lyrically he continues to be obvious at best and puerile at worst.

While For What It’s Worth is a pretty and inoffensive anthem, the production is the most striking thing about the whole album, giving it an unexpectedly mature, slick and contemporary feel but after twenty years offering pale imitations of far superior bands, did you really expect him to start pushing boundaries now? As you were.
