Here we are on a bed of vocoders in the tender loving, teasing arms of Kurt Wagner. Little Black Boxes could’ve snuck it’s way onto Everything Now by Arcade Fire. And there’s Daisy a capella and luscious piano.

I’m wondering what the partial Latin inscription on the album cover means? This is an album that expects a lot of the listener and gives much in return. Lambchop are like Yo La Tengo for me — they can do no wrong. Consistently surprising and brilliant. His Song Is Sung. Wow. Already thinking this is the bastard, slightly wayward masterpiece-child of Nixon and The Daily Growl.
