Scotland’s Fatherson return with their fourth long player, and the title hints at the theme of the album. Lyrically the group explore human fears and how to deal with them. As a result it comes across as quite a personal album. Having said that, it is an accessible journey for the listener as the concerns are common.

Most of the tracks, like The Feeling And The Sound, are classic guitar-led indie rock, although there is a place for the piano-driven Honest To God. Whilst there are some pretty heavy themes lyrically, the feelings are more empowering than depressing. The band are a tight unit and collectively they have created a very strong release.
