An eighth studio outing for this often heavy psych band hailing from Washington DC, Dead Meadow have been round the block, had members leave then return and now after nigh on twenty years they’ve brewed some heady heavy blues riffs with subtle psychedelic tones into something experimental and hypnotic.

Mixing wobbly synth and jangly guitars particularly on the second track The Lure Of The Next Peak they are reaching greater heights of consciousness, some of these ideas have apparently been on the incense burner since the band’s inception back in ’98 and like any fine headsoup the flavour has had time to mature into a fine collection of intuitive understanding, it’s fitting the closing tune is Binah (look it up!).
