New York producer Seth Haley – aka Com Truise – makes incredibly glossy electronic music. His tracks pulsate through dimensions of a hi-definition world where friendly humanoids nod in agreement. Second album Iteration is a nothing short of utopian fantasy, a Total Recall of dreamscapes, perfected for the escapist simulacra of a VR headset.

In line with the saccharine synthesiser-meddling of 2013 debut Galactic Melt, the album showcases the artist’s vivid musical palette, cranking up the immersive robotic glitchery. Memory bleeds video game nostalgia from its core, whilst Ephemeron take cues from Neon Indian’s playful, wonky electro-pop. Iteration is in no way a game-changer in the overpopulated sphere of electronic music, but It’s surreal enough to maintain its artificial allure.
