Bigger, louder, still nihilistic in tone with familiar monotone delivery, however this time with a supportive message, CLAMM’s second album is a mission to support, educate, bolster and cajole in this “fucked up world”. They’ve filled out their line-up with manic synth supplied by Nao Anzai and skronked sax courtesy of Anna Gordon.

Recent single Monday decries a state of mundanity with the man taking the rewards leaving scant morsels for us plebs, a basic good versus evil story. Something New has a Buzzcockian grandness to it (yes it’s a thing), but the stand out track for me is Bit Much, with riffs to die for and a chant that is sure to get the crowds stomping along.
