Fifteen songs to conjure up the primal urge in any true rocker to throw their body into the mosh pit without a thought for tomorrow. Breaking any speed limits there ever were, Chubby And The Gang, a modern, London-based punk band, will release their second album, The Mutt’s Nuts, on 27th August, following last year’s debut Speed Kills. Think Ramones with everything turned to eleven.

From political, anti-establishment, punk rock kick-in-the-neck tracks like It’s Me Who’ll Pay and Coming Up Tough, featuring Maegan Brooks Mills’ first-class bass chugging alongside Chubby Charles’ fury-fuelled vocals, to gentler, (more) sober songs like Take Me Home To London, The Mutt’s Nuts goes to show that Chubby And The Gang really are what their album’s name suggests.
