The chief maverick of avant-classical returns. The odyssey of Chilly Gonzales is an enthralling one: a pianist who can channel Satie, whilst also collaborating with the likes of Drake, Feist, Daft Punk and Ibeyi. Even at a time where the lines between ‘genres’ become more and more blurred, Gonzales is a crossover success like no other.

The third instalment of his Solo Piano series finds him building on the exquisite atmospheres of last year’s Room 29, the delightful record he crafted with Jarvis Cocker. Over sixteen pieces, dedicated to the likes of synth-pioneer Wendy Carlos, comedian Eric Andre and rap titans Migos, Gonzales retains his crown as the master of twisting melody and dissonance together to create majestic atmospheres. Enthralling.
