High-class polished feminist pop from Chai, this album has an uber-cool mass market sensibility as admired by many music luminaries by the likes of Damon Albarn and Duran Duran.

Fashioning these songs on the road to get across their experience of being a Japanese woman to a filtered Western audience, covering dance move crazes in PARA PARA to emerging in a particular cultural generation in From 1992, they delightfully demand we appreciate their aspirational positivity and independence.

They have a plan to appeal to an international audience rather than cater to domestic norms and their continuous world touring is a testament to their ever increasing popularity, they’ll be charming us in the UK in November.
